Simona Stambazzi

Oral storyteller, Teacher, Writer

Simona is a storyteller and language teacher from Italy.
She fell in love with stories at a very young age, and she’s been playing with her imagination ever since - creating stories, writing, telling, reading, and now integrating storytelling in language teaching.
Starting out as an avid reader, Simona started creating and writing her own stories, to then discover the world of oral storytelling thanks to David Heathfield, who inspired her to include stories in her language lessons. Simona started experimenting, and she hasn’t stopped ever since, as she has discovered the power and magic of sharing stories.

She loves to share her passion with her students and other teachers from around the world through her online workshops and her social media pages ‘Simona’s Stories’.

She is also the co-host of the storytelling podcast
'A Cornucopia of Tales and Tellers' and the co-organiser of ‘Storytelling in Education – Global Online Conference’.
